23.08.2016, 14:36

The Emergency service belongs among the inherent components of NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days. It includes also the Moravian-Silesian Rescue Service, which will not only present its daily work, but will also ensure the medical assistance directly at the event’s venue.

The visitors will have an opportunity to try how to manage the first aid, urgent resuscitation or calling the emergency number. The children and teenagers may enjoy the drawing time with Little Christoph or competitions with small prices. The exposition should be also enriched by the exhibition of the special transport team and solution equipment for highly contagious diseases.

„The Rescue Service’s presentation is very popular at NATO Days due to the practical side of trying the rescuers’ jobs,“ explains Zbyněk Pavlačík, CEO of Jagello 2000. „Moreover, the static display is planned to address also the important security topic of potential worldwide epidemics.“

Further, the visitors can go through the equipment of both the big and small ambulances. The professionals will answer all questions and give advice, as well as they will present examples of some of the medical procedures.

Besides its static display, the Moravian-Silesian Rescue Service is one of the co-organizers of the event and will also provide the basic pre-hospital emergency care and psycho-social assistance.
