NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days are traditionally held at Leoš Janáček Ostrava Airport, the aviation gateway to the largest city in Moravian-Silesian Region. The airport, city of Ostrava and the Moravian-Silesian Region participate at the organization of the event at the long-term basis already.
Ostrava is the largest city in Moravian-Silesian Region and the third largest city in the Czech Republic. Today the “green” and clean city is proud on its long industrial history, which is symbolized by the National Cultural Monument - Lower Area of Vítkovice. NATO Days’ Active Afternoon is taking place right in this marvellous surroundings on Wednesday, September 14 from 15 up until 18 p.m. Greatly favoured Action Afternoon in Ostrava serve once again as a limited preview of the show. Visitors of the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days may explore beauties of Science and Technology Centre and U6 Science and Technology Centre with 20% discount for admission. Vouchers will be ready to collect during the Weekend Show at the airport in a stand near large screen.
