The Prison Service of the Czech Republic will demonstrate its abilities and unveil a new recruitment

At this year's NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days, the Czech Prison Service will present captivating static and dynamic displays and unveil a new recruitment campaign for service positions. Visitors will once again have the opportunity to meet members of the Czech Republic's second-largest security force in person.

The core of the Prison Service's presentation is the annually popular dynamic display, the theme of which this year will be an attack on a long-distance escort convoy. It is based on the real-life escort activities of the Czech Prison Service, as its members conduct long-distance interregional prisoner transfers across the country on a weekly basis.

In addition to the dynamic display, the Czech Prison Service will showcase its fleet of vehicles and will present activities related to the management and care of inmates, as well as the employment of convicted persons. Visitors will also be able to see the equipment, weaponry, and special activities, such as canine and intervention units. Separate tents will be dedicated to the recruitment of officers and civilian staff, as well as to the education of both personnel and inmates.

The Czech Prison Service not only contributes to the organisation by creating and performing popular dynamic and static displays, but also plays a significant role in the construction and dismantling of exhibits and facilities, as well as in the transportation of participants and guests. It is an important and indispensable part of the security community, with its mission not only to ensure the enforcement of custody, imprisonment, or security detention but also to maintain order and security within the judiciary and the operations of the public prosecutor's offices and the Ministry of Justice.

The Czech Prison Service was established in 1993 with the founding of the new Czech state. It first participated in NATO Days in 2003 and has since become a regular participant in this event.
