U&C UAS will showcase its Stork LR unmanned aerial systems
The leading manufacturer of drones for the Ukrainian armed forces, U&C UAS, will present its latest products at this year’s NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days.
The Ukrainian-Czech company U&C UAS was established with the aim of diversifying and expanding its existing production of unmanned aerial systems. Initially, the focus was on meeting the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but the company now aims to enter third-country markets. In addition to expanding its production and innovation centre, the company seeks to adapt its current portfolio of unmanned systems to meet the standards of EU and NATO member states. The company has already obtained a NATO Commercial and Government Entity (NCAGE) code and is registered in the NATO codification system under the number 8400G.
The company’s main product is the Stork LR drone. This autonomous, remotely controlled unmanned aerial system is designed for tasks such as aerial reconnaissance, artillery fire guidance, patrolling, and terrain mapping, with the capability to transmit visual information in real time.
The STORK LR system has a flight time of up to 4 hours and an operational range of up to 75 km within line of sight. These technical parameters enable operators to deploy the system effectively from a safe distance. By using MESH networking technology, it is possible to operate several unmanned systems simultaneously, controlled by a single ground station, and to use the system as a signal relay. The digital control channel is encrypted and allows for automatic or manual frequency switching in bands that are beyond the reach of most known electronic warfare devices.
