Accreditation for Journalists
Journalists and freelance journalists with valid membership in the Syndicate of Journalists (SN) or the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) may apply for media accreditation for NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days. The management of media accreditations is handled by an agency appointed by the organiser (hereafter referred to as the "Agency") under the following conditions:
-
The Agency will only accredit journalists based on a properly completed registration and submitted application.
-
Accreditation applications can be submitted until and including 18 September 2024.
-
The Agency reserves the right to deny accreditation without providing a reason. Applicants will be informed of the decision within two working days.
-
The accreditation is issued to a specific individual. In the event of a change in the journalist assigned by a particular editorial office, the Agency must be informed; otherwise, the newly appointed journalist will be regarded as unaccredited.
- Journalists may also apply for a Vehicle Entry Permit, which allows parking in a designated area within the event grounds. Approval of accreditation does not guarantee the issuance of a Vehicle Entry Permit. This permit will be distributed via email in PDF format and will include a unique QR code, that will be checked on the entrance.
- The event venue will be open to journalists on the same hours they are open to the public. The plan for accessing the designated parking area can be found here.
- Upon showing their accreditation and proof of identity, journalists will receive an identification wristband at the VIP area entrance. Organisers reserve the right to verify the journalist's identity.
- The identification wristband is non-transferable and grants the journalist access to the designated areas. Accredited journalists have the right to use the Press Centre at the event venue, including the information and materials provided there, as well as Wi-Fi internet access. The Press Centre will be open during the hours when the airport grounds are accessible to the public. The layout of the Press Centre can be found here.
-
Journalists have access to areas open to the public even without accreditation.
Due to security and organizational reasons, it is not possible to enable entrance to airport area outside public opening time.
