Acrobatic group Želazny will paint on the sky again

19.08.2024, 14:21

The longest continuously operating Polish aerobatic group of the Polish aviation will once again return to the NATO Days in Ostrava & Air Force Days after a successful premiere from last year.

The ORLEN Grupa Akrobacyjna Żelazny formation is known for its challenging aerial manoeuvres, during which individual aircraft come within a few metres of each other. The difficulty is increased by the fact that they often perform with several types of aircraft. The attractiveness of their performances is further enhanced by musical accompaniment and stunning smoke effects.

"During their debut last year, the Želazny group enchanted us with their figures, creating unusual smoke trails in the sky, and we are very happy to have them back at NATO Days after a year," comments Zbyněk Pavlačík, Chairman of Jagello 2000.

The Zelazny Group was founded in the year 2000 and the team is based near Poznan. In total, the group operates one EXTRA 330 LC aerobatic special, three ZLIN 50LS, three ZLIN 526Fi and an MDM-1 FOX glider, which they combine in various ways during its performances.
