Visitors to the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days, which will take place on the 16th and 17th of September at the Leoš Janáček Ostrava Airport, can again look forward not only to a show of top military equipment, but also to new Škoda cars. The Škoda brand has traditionally been one of the event's major partners and this year has prepared a rich accompanying programme for visitors.

The company from Mladá Boleslav has once again linked its name with the largest security show in Europe. The exclusive partnership is matched by an exceptional on-site presentation. Eight new Škoda cars will be on display as exhibits. Among them, there is the electric Enyaq in its several variants, but above all, the upgraded Scala and Kamiq models will be presented here in their national premiere.

The Škoda Zone will be ready for visitors, offering an educational programme on the topic of electricity. Competitive individuals will have the opportunity to race on a 3D rally simulator and children for whom a number of fun activities are planned, will certainly not be bored either. Those interested can test the off-road abilities of the Kodiaq and Enyaq on the nearby off-road polygon.

NATO Days in Ostrava will welcome prominent personalities from all over the world. A fleet of 25 Škoda Enyaq electric vehicles is ready to transport official guests, but other Škoda vehicles will also be on site for static and dynamic displays.

"The Nato Days are traditionally an important platform and event for us, where we not only want to provide visitors with an experience with our cars and our brand, but also want to address the extremely important topic of safety. And not only in the context of the features and technologies of our cars, but above all in the sense of safety and cohesion in general, which we see as the main message of the Days of NATO and our partnership," explains Libor Šedivák, Head of Marketing at Škoda Auto Czech Republic.

NATO Days are an annual opportunity to showcase heavy military, police and rescue equipment. The event showcases special forces training, aerial displays and the weapons, equipment and gear of military units. In addition, it is a prestigious social event where representatives of private companies meet with prominent representatives of the public sector.

Among the regular guests are members of the Czech government, representatives of the North Atlantic Alliance and the European Union, representatives of regions, towns and municipalities, ambassadors, military and air force attaches, members of civilian and military delegations and other guests not only from the Czech Republic, but also increasingly from abroad - especially from Europe and the United States of America. Last year, the largest security show in Europe was attended by 110,000 visitors, and this year, too, great public interest is expected.
