Flight demonstration of the L-39NG for the first time in the Czech Republic

The new L-39NG aircraft developed and manufactured at Aero Vodochody will be presented for the first time to visitors of the NATO Days in Ostrava & the Czech Air Force Days during an aerobatic demonstration.

Aero factory pilots Vladimír Továrek and Vytautas Požela received certification for their performance just a few weeks before NATO Days. Spectators can look forward to a full-fledged aerobatic demonstration, which they are used to with Aero Vodochody aircraft. The L-39NG aircraft has a fully open flight envelope, so during the aerobatic demonstration, the pilots are not limited by any restrictions that would force them to compromise.

The most important Czech aircraft manufacturer has traditionally announced to the Czech public significant news from the development of the L-39NG program during NATO Days - Aero presented a new aircraft to the general public for the first time in 2019, last year it ceremoniously announced aircraft certification.

The L-39NG aircraft had to wait a long time for its first public aerobatic demonstration in the Czech Republic, because major aviation events were either postponed due to anti-pandemic measures or canceled altogether. All the more so, the Aero team is now looking forward to being able to demonstrate the qualities of their new aircraft in front of a domestic audience.
