French Ramex Delta team to rumble above Ostrava again!
We are thrilled to announce yet another official confirmation for NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days 2015, coming from France this time. The Ramex Delta team is returning after three-year’s absence to display their real-life combat manoeuvres with a pair of the Mirage 2000Ns.
France participated in Ostrava for the last time in 2012 in what was the Ramex Delta’s international debut performance. This year, the team is supposed to perform at only two airshows during the entire season. “Despite some previous unofficial head-ups, we have received official confirmation only now and are extremely happy to announce again the unique Ramex Delta,” explains Zbyněk Pavlačík, head of Jagello 2000. “The team sends warm regards to our fans in the form of new photographs and their 2014-season video.”
Mirage 2000 in the “N” version is a single-engine, nuclear-capable fighter. Ramex Delta team members thus belong to the strategic forces and can perform tasks of nuclear deterrence. Unlike other aerobatic teams, the Ramex Delta not only shows the extreme manoeuvrability of their machines, but the display is based on real combat scenarios. “It is the real-life flying like on an actual mission what makes the team special and this is also the direction we want to pursue at our show, just like with ground displays,” adds Pavlačík.
“The Ramex Delta team should conclude its 2015 season at NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days flying at only two events outside France – Air Tattoo and Ostrava. The fact that the team has chosen our show is a great honour and recognition of our efforts here at NATO Days in Ostrava,” concludes Pavlačík.
