NATO Days nominated among best European air shows

As a proof of the significant international reputation of NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Days, a nomination arrived from the Dutch 4Aviation.nl portal for the ‘Best European air show for aircraft photography 2015’ award. The Winner will be decided by popular vote, so you can make your voice count, too!

Being selected from tens of aviation events held in Europe each year, NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days have been shortlisted to a truly exclusive company. Among the five finalists are further Royal International Air Tattoo (UK), Duxford Flying Legends (UK), Radom Airshow (Poland) and the Malta International Airshow. This nomination only proves that NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days belong to the club of renowned European air shows. The winner will be announced at the European Airshow Council (EAC) convention in Malta in March where NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days organizers will be present again, as the only participants from the Czech Republic.

“In recent years, we have been awarded several EAC awards in the PR and Marketing category. Since 2011, we have received the First Prize (twice) and the Third Prize (twice), making us the most-awarded event in this category in the EAC history. We will see how we do this year,” says Zbyněk Pavlačík, chairman of Jagello 2000, main organizing agency of NATO Days in Ostrava. ”The winner of the 4Aviation.nl contest will be decided by fans and public, predominantly those enjoying taking pictures as this is a spotter’s website mainly.
