The Czech Army will present its future at NATO Days
Visitors to the NATO Days in Ostrava & the Czech Air Force Days 2021 will have a unique opportunity to look into the future of the Czech Army. In a special exhibition, it will offer an overview of current acquisition projects, where it will present newly acquired equipment and armaments.
Visitors to the venue will see what technology the army has acquired in the recent past or will acquire in the near future. At the same time, the old and obsolete technology will be on display, which is being phased out thanks to these acquisitions. New Toyota Hilux vehicles will be displayed side by side alongside Land Rover and UAZ, Tatras 815 next to Praga V3S, various generations of small arms, and we believe that the new CASA C-295MW will be introduced. Visitors will be able to see for themselves what the development is in the field of military technology.
"The Czech Army faces many challenges in today's very dynamic world, which is why it must adapt and respond to them," comments Zbyněk Pavlačík, Chairman of Jagello 2000. "We are pleased that the increase in defense spending allows it to get rid of obsolete armaments, and we hope that at NATO Days we will be able to regularly present newly acquired equipment to protect our state and our allies. In this way, the public can take a closer look at ongoing and planned acquisition projects and see that the funds spent are meaningfully spent. "
The A-330 MRTT refueling aircraft from the MMF's international program, of which the Czech Republic is a part, will also have its domestic public premiere during the ceremonial flight on both days of the event over Mošnov Airport. Thanks to this, it can use the capabilities of this aircraft for the needs of transporting people, material or refueling in flight.
