The Moravian-Silesian Region and Ostrava invite you to visit!
Although you will not be able to visit the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days this year, you can use one of the autumn weekends to explore interesting places in the Moravian-Silesian Region and Ostrava. In addition, you can visit many monuments or museums completely free of charge until the end of October.
This year's NATO Days will not be opened to the public, however, the Moravian-Silesian Region and the statutory city of Ostrava have a lot to offer not only to locals but also to tourists.
"The Moravian-Silesian Region and the Statutory City of Ostrava have been partners of the event from the very beginning and without their support, the NATO Days could not exist in this form," notes Zbyněk Pavlačík, Chairman of Jagello 2000. "Our event attracts tens of thousands of visitors to the city and the region every year, so we would like them to arrive this year as well if they will not be watching NATO Days on television."
Thanks to its size and diversity, the Moravian-Silesian Region offers many different types of activities, so tourists can go on a trip to nature or discover cultural or technical monuments, more than 50 of which are completely free thanks to the Severní Morava Travel program. These include the popular Valaška Trail, which offers views of the wide surroundings of Pustevny, you can visit the mining exhibition in Landek Park, get to know the Small and Big World of Technology, the Ostrava Zoo and much more.
