The Municipal Police of Ostrava will once again participate in NATO Days this year

During the dynamic demonstration at NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days, members of the Hippology, Cynology, and Operations Department will demonstrate a response to an unruly crowd that is disrupting public order without respecting the officers' lawful commands.

In this demonstration, visitors will also be able learn how the Ostrava Municipal Police use horses in their service and why these animals are an indispensable and effective aid in maintaining public order.

Additionally, there will be a highly popular demonstration of the work of canine experts and their four-legged partners. Besides showcasing the dogs' obedience, the canine officers will also demonstrate the apprehension of a suspect in scenarios they might encounter in a line of duty.

Visitors will also have access to presentation tents where they can learn more about the activities of the Ostrava Municipal Police and check out the gear and equipment that the officers use in their service. They will also have the chance to test their shooting skills and accuracy at a laser shooting range.

The Ostrava Municipal Police has not forgotten about the event's younger visitors, for whom the prevention officers prepared a number of games, competitions and quizzes. For those arriving by bicycle, officers will provide service and supervision for three bike storage areas with a total capacity of 10,000 bicycles.
