The Ostrava Municipal Police will present themselves along with their four-legged partners
The programme of the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days will once again be enriched by the participation of the Ostrava Municipal Police. Their members have prepared an action-packed dynamic demonstration. Nearly fifty officers will also be awarded for their service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Although this year's event is being planned without the attendance of the public, viewers can look forward to a commented dynamic demonstration of the Ostrava Municipal Police's intervention against disruption of the public order via television or live stream. This demonstration will be conducted jointly by police officers from the hippology group, the cynology group and the law enforcement group of the Ostrava Municipal Police Operational Division.
The demonstration will thus display the cooperation between officers and their service horses and dogs. Thanks to the fact that it will be based on real situations, it will also show the readiness of police officers to cope with these demanding interventions.
At the NATO Days in Ostrava, there will also be a award ceremony for members of the Integrated Rescue System and security forces, who in the spring months performed extraordinary tasks in coping with the emergency situation associated with COVID-19. 45 police officers of the Ostrava Municipal Police will be among the awarded.
