The University of Defence Returns to NATO Days!

The largest security show in Europe once again includes the institution responsible for educating the future officers of the Czech Armed Forces and preparing new personnel to operate the most advanced defence equipment. The Military College will present itself to the visitors of NATO Days in the Career Centre.

Current students of various specialisations will be present at the stand of the University of Defence to provide prospective students interested in studying at one of the university's three faculties with up-to-date information about the study programmes on offer and the admission procedure for the next academic year.

Visitors to the exhibit will also have the opportunity to try one part of the entrance examination - a physical fitness test consisting of sit-ups within a one-minute interval. For younger visitors, there will be knowledge-based games and quizzes with a military theme, an aviation-themed memory game, or a test of military ranks knowledge. Visitors can also test their wit and skills by constructing da Vinci's self-supporting bridge.

The students of the University of Defence will also present the results of their design work in an area that is currently developing dynamically - they will demonstrate unmanned aerial vehicles with which they successfully represent the school at international competitions.

The University of Defence is the only military university in the Czech Republic. It offers both military and civilian studies across three faculties in bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programmes. At the same time, it is an important centre for defence and security research and development, primarily serving the needs of the Army of the Czech Republic.
