The award ceremony for members of the integrated rescue system and security forces, who during the emergency in the spring months significantly contributed to managing the coronavirus crisis. The awards will be presented by the representatives of the Government of the Czech Republic and respective services. Members of the Czech Police, the Czech Fire and Rescue Service, hygienic stations, and the medical rescue services will receive the award.

43rd Airborne Battalion, AGAT

The 43rd Airborne Battalion from Chrudim is a light airborne battalion. Soldiers are trained to perform tactical airdrops and raids, as well as to fight both in the field and in the city. The unit has participated in several combat missions abroad, for example in the Balkans, the Middle East, and Africa. The battalion is currently undergoing a transformation into an airborne regiment, which should be completed on the 1st of October. The AGAT unit is an airborne unit under the Special Forces Command of the Armed Forces of the Polish Republic. The unit is trained for raids and combat operations behind enemy lines. This is the fifth time it has been at NATO Days in nine years.

Czech armored units will conduct a joint attack against enemy forces. Czech 7. mechanized brigade is the heaviest firepower of the Czech army. They use modernized tanks T-72M4CZ, tracked infantry combat vehicles, and wheeled infantry combat vehicles Pandur II. Currently, tender for the replacement of the old soviet era built tracked combat vehicles is underway.

Tatra Trucks, the partner of the NATO Days 2020, will present its Tatra Tactic vehicle, which is the successor of the famous 810 series. The vehicle is equipped with a frame chassis with special Tatra Rigid portal axles and is produced in both 4x4 and 6x6 versions. The vehicle can be also equipped with additional ballistic protection.

The intervention unit of the Police Directorate of the Moravian-Silesian Region will intervene against the attacker threatening the assembled crowd. The perpetrator seized a truck, which he probably equipped with an explosive or flammable substance. An armored T-CAT vehicle designed to stop it and intervention teams will be located at the place which the perpetrator is expected to drive through.

The vehicle in this configuration with the MT-30 MK2 manned turret will be presented at NATO Days for the first time. The same vehicle will participate in planned military tests that are part of a tender for new tracked combat vehicles for the Czech Army.

Aerobatics and Red Bull Air Race world champion Martin Šonka will fly on his acrobatic aircraft Extra 300SR in a joint demonstration with the Czech Air Force pilot Major Ivo Kardoš on a Saab JAS-39 Gripen. For the jubilee 20th year of NATO Days, the pilots have prepared a brand new breathtaking demonstration, which will take place thanks to the support of Saab. Major Kardoš has already won two awards for his performances at NATO Days: the first in 2018 for the demonstration of the Gripen aircraft, the second together with Martin Šonka for their demonstration from last year.

Demonstration of the Saab 105, known in the Swedish Air Force as the Sk-60. This aircraft returns to NATO Days after five long years. The Saab 105 is a training jet that was developed during the 1960s. It is currently still in the service in Austria and Sweden.

Reenactment fights at this year's NATO Days will commemorate the important battle for the Štítina village, which was attended by members of the 1st Czechoslovak Independent Tank Brigade. Viewers will see a reconnaissance, suppressive fire, attack of the T-34/85 tank and infantry, German defense, and a simulated air battle of replicas of Jak-3 and Bf-109. The demonstration will take place in cooperation with the Silesian Museum, the Military History Institute, and military history clubs.

Zetor Engineering, the partner of the NATO Days 2020, will demonstrate its modular tactical 4x4 armored vehicle Gerlach. The vehicle meets the highest levels of protection according to the STANAG 4569 standard and is capable of transporting six soldiers and cargo with a weigh up to 1.5 tons. There is a filter-ventilation system for movement in a contaminated environment. At the customer's request, it can also be equipped with a wide range of communication and weapon systems.

The last public appearance of a Saab-105 training jet of the Austrian Air Force in a special tiger squadron camouflage. The Austrian Air Force plans to decommission this aircraft developed in the late 1960s later this year. In addition to the Austrian Air Force, Saab 105 aircraft also serve in Sweeden, its homeland.

7th Mechanized Brigade of the Czech Army

T-72M4 CZ is a Czech comprehensive modernization of the Soviet T-72 tank to a level comparable to 3rd generation tanks. The tank is also able to protect the three-member crew consisting of the commander, gunner, and driver against pressure waves, radiation, and chemicals. The modernization of thirty tanks was approved by the Government of the Czech Republic in 1994. According to experts, it was the best modernization of the T-72 tank at the time.

The intention of this demonstration will be to show a raid on the position of a four-member enemy paramilitary group. The purpose of the raid will be to eliminate the person of interest and to obtain information through the captured documentation. The raid will be carried out by two reconnaissance groups with the support of helicopters.
