Ribbon of the Czech Euro-Atlantic Council
The success of the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days is based on an extensive presentation of Czech and foreign armed, security and rescue units. However, just like our security, their participation cannot be taken for granted. Many of them, in addition to presenting their skills and equipment, also play a significant role in the organization of the entire event.
Therefore, we have been recognizing their long-term cooperation annually since 2008 by awarding the Ribbon of the Czech Euro-Atlantic Council, each year to one selected service or unit. The exceptions were the "covid" year 2020, when two services were awarded, as well as the year 2023, when ribbons were awarded to the national guards of two American states, also with regards to the commemoration of 30 years of their cooperation with the Czech Army.
