L-39NG returns from the European tour and heads to the NATO Days
The Czech training aircraft Aero L-39NG is back on home ground. After Slovakia and Austria, the final stop of the European tour awaits him in the Czech Republic. Visitors to the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days will see the aircraft in the air and on a static display.
The L-39NG is a modern and efficient jet aircraft which is ideal both for full-fledged training of pilots of modern air forces as well as for the fulfilment of ground support and reconnaissance or electronic warfare missions. The most modern technologies used in the L-39NG aircraft, combined with the accompanying ground training system and simulation technologies, are the ideal solution for training future pilots for the fourth and fifth generation fighter aircraft.
On the L-39NG pilots appreciate the excellent flight characteristics, intuitive control, excellent view from the cabin and the high level of their protection in the event of an emergency landing or an airplane crash. This is due to the traditional massiveness of the aircraft design, which is based on the L-39 Albatros, and completely new design elements, such as the new canopy and engine from Williams.
The Czech L-39NG aircraft recently received full type certification without restrictions and thus has a free path to world markets. The aircraft is fully compatible with all requirements and systems within the states of the European Union and the North Atlantic Alliance.
"Series production of the L-39NG is going full throttle. Thanks to the already concluded contracts we have practically full production capacity until 2025, and the interest in our training aircraft is increasing. We are in advanced negotiations for the delivery of the L-39NG to several customers in Europe, Africa, Asia and South America which would be a historic success for Aero," says Filip Kulštrunk, vice president for sales and marketing of Aero Vodochody.
During this year's European tour, the L-39NG first visited Slovakia. There Aero signed a contract for strategic cooperation on the production of its training aircraft with the Slovak company Letecké opravovne Trenčín. The subsequent stop in Austria brought the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with Airborne Technologies regarding the development and integration of a reconnaissance system on this aircraft. At both events, the aircraft was successfully presented to the highest representatives of the Air Force for whom the L-39NG is the ideal solution for the continuity of pilot training in the future.
The manufacturer of L-39NG, the company Aero Vodochody, is one of the main partners of the largest security show in Europe - NATO Days in Ostrava Czech Air Force Days 2022. The strategic partner of the L-39NG project is the company OMNIPOL with which Aero jointly exhibits its technology at NATO Days.
