Embraer to present its C-390 Millennium

For the second consecutive year, Embraer will participate in the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days as a main partner of the event with a static display of the C-390 Millennium transport aircraft. 

Embraer is a global aerospace company with businesses in Commercial and Executive aviation, Defense & Security, and Services & Support. The company designs, develops, manufactures, and markets aircraft and systems, providing after-sales service and support to customers.
 
The company is bringing the C-390 Millennium for a second appearance at NATO Days. This aircraft is redefining military airlift and challenging the thinking behind current and future generation platforms, with multi-mission capability and interoperability built by design. “The C-390 is the right choice right now; it is proven, certified and available. The multi-mission airlift already holds civil certification and accreditation in Europe. The C-390 Millennium also achieved Full Operational Capability (FOC) with the Brazilian Air Force in March 2023," says Bosco da Costa Junior, President and CEO, Embraer Defense & Security.

The Czech Republic is an active partner in the development and production of the C-390. The Czech company Aero Vodochody is a strategic partner and supplier for the program, producing parts of the rear fuselage, the doors for paratroopers and crew, the emergency door and hatches, the cargo ramp, and the fixed leading edge.
 
Since delivery to the Brazilian Air Force in 2019 the C-390 Millennium has accumulated more than 9,500 flight hours and has been tested in extreme climatic conditions ranging from hot and high natural surface operations in central South America to airland and airdrop missions in Antarctica.
 
Brazil, Hungary, Netherlands and Portugal have already selected the C-390. The expansion of this group of nations will develop bi-lateral and multi-lateral relationships on operations, training, and maintenance that are key for the success of the Program.
