Most of the regiments and brigades of the Army of the Czech Republic have traditionally participated in the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days, providing visitors with the largest display of equipment of all participants. On display will be the new acquisition of the Czech Armed Forces in the form of the MADR radar, the Leopard 2A4 main battle tank, unmanned aerial vehicles and light combat vehicles designed for radiation and chemical reconnaissance and surveillance.

Visitors can look forward to the traditional combat parachute of the 43rd Airborne Regiment from Chrudim. A combination of air and ground displays will be offered by the 53rd Regiment of Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare, which will perform a helicopter drop and ambush the enemy. A display full of heavy equipment, including two tanks, will be offered by the 7th Mechanised Brigade during an attack by a reinforced mechanised platoon. At the beginning of the display, the Cyber Forces and Information Operations Group will make its debut, performing a tactical deception of the enemy.

"The Army of the Czech Republic is the most important participant of NATO Days, offering the largest number of displays each year and contributing to a large extent to the organisation of the whole event," said Zbyněk Pavlačík, Chairman of Jagello 2000.

In addition to the opportunity to talk to the soldiers, you can also look forward to a large number of static displays, including the premiere display of a new addition to the ranks of the Czech Army - the MADR radar. Heavy equipment on display will include Leopard 2A4 and T-72M4 CZ tanks and a BVP-2 infantry fighting vehicle. Also light armed vehicles designed for radiation and chemical reconnaissance and observation will be provided by the 31st Regiment of Radiation, Biological and Chemical Protection.

There will also be radars, unmanned aerial vehicles or means of radio interference, surveillance and eavesdropping. In addition, the 25th Anti-Aircraft Regiment will offer a simulation of firing on the RBS-70 DUMMY.
