USAF F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team in Ostrava!!!

In less than three weeks, NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days will welcome the US Air Force F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team as the first ever event in Central and Eastern Europe!

Visitors of the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days had the first opportunity to see the Italian F-35A Lightning on a static display in 2021 and the Dutch F-35A last year.

"We are proud to continue the presentation of the latest fifth-generation F-35 aircraft with a dynamic display by the US Air Force's F-35A Lighting II Demonstration Team," said Zbyněk Pavlačík, chairman of Jagello 2000, which organizes the event.

The USAF F-35A Lightning II Demo Team will only be in three countries across Europe this year - Greece at Athens Flying Week, Belgium at the Kleine Brogel show and the Czech Republic. Major Kristin "Beo" Wolfe, who has flown over 800 hours in the F-35A Lightning II and F-22A Raptor, will show off her piloting skills.

The USAF plans to bring a total of three F-35A aircraft to Ostrava from its base in Lakenheath, UK - one for a dynamic display, one for a static display and the third as a backup.
